UPDATED: 25TH APRIL 2021
We are pleased to announce our plans for the re-opening of the Williamson’s Tunnels to visitors. We have started taking bookings for visits commencing on Sunday 23rd May 2021 following lifting of Covid-19 restrictions. This is subject to change, if the government roadmap changes.
Full Covid measures will be in place to keep you our visitors and of course our guides safe.
- All visitors and volunteers will have their temperature taken on arrival on site with a no contact thermometer.
- You will be requested to sanitise your hands and wear a face covering at all times whilst with us. Sorry, no face covering, no tour (Children under 11 or people with proof of medical exemption excepted).
- You will be asked to leave NHS Test and Trace details with us (information deleted after 21 days) or we encourage you to use the government QR code.
- Tours can be booked for a maximum of 5 persons. These five persons must be from the same family group only.
We are open for tours every Wednesday and Sunday, with three tour slots per day:
- 11.00 am
- 12:30 pm
- 2.00 pm
There is no entrance fee, but we never say no to a donation to help preserve this important Liverpool Heritage. Join up as a member of FoWT, to see Joseph Williamson’s House Site in addition to our amazing Paddington Site.
For more information on our visits, or how to book your visit with FoWT, head to our “Visit the Tunnels” page where you will be able to book your visit.
We are excited to welcome you back. See you soon…
