There’s a lot of rubble in the Williamson Tunnels, but you might have noticed that we like digging! We carry out various short- and long-term digging projects, such as excavating the true depth of the Paddington tunnels and unveiling the famous Banqueting Hall.
Some of our Trustees are always there, along with long-term volunteers and new recruits. If you’d like to join in, let us know and you’ll be warmly welcomed. We’re a friendly bunch, we’ll show you the ropes and provide the necessary equipment. Naturally, all our digging activity is carried out to strict safety guidelines, including Covid-19 social distancing, and you’ll always be in the company of at least one of our specialists who’s qualified in close confined space working.
