Our guest speaker on the night will be Gary Lunt, who will talk about “Liverpool and the Silver Screen”

“In 2018, Gary Lunt launched Reel Tours: Liverpool’s only film location walking tour company. Over the last five years, he has taken thousands of people around various filming locations in the city, delivered talks and hosted cinematic events in the region.

Recognised as BBC Radio Merseyside’s resident film expert, Gary loves nothing more than exploring the art and history of cinema.

In this live, virtual talk, Gary will showcase a number of his favourite locations in the city centre. We’ll also discuss the humble beginnings of Liverpool as a filming location and its exciting journey in becoming a world renowned cinematic city.”
