Three of us went on a tour on a Sunday with Mike. We chose the extended tour which I highly recommend. Mike is full of knowledge and incredibly easy to listen too. He answered everyone's questions and we were a very inquisitive group! There were about 10 or so in total on the tour and 4 chose to extend. The main tour ended up taking about 2 hours, probably because of all the questions we asked, and at no point were we rushed or hurried through. The second part was a lot shorter but ticked every box we expected it too. As someone recently moved to the area I had no idea these tunnels existed and it was a real eye opener. There is parking on site and I found responses to emails and enquiries very prompt. Everyone should do it. Hopefully they will get permission to extend the tunnels at some point snd I will definitely return - maybe even to help dig
Fantastic Tour of Williamsons commercial tunnels This tour was excellent in every way. Clare who led the tour was very informative and fantastic tour guide. The tour lasted around an hour and half but clare and team were very glad to talk to us before and afterwards. We did the commercial tour and we are going to join up as members and do the house tour next. Many thanks to clare and the other volunteers for excavating by hand I must say and giving us all the opportunity to visit these underground tunnels xx
