Our guest speaker on the night will be John Lamb, who will talk about “James Cropper and Liverpool’s unheralded contribution to the Abolition of Slavery”.
“John is a former geography teacher and a Birkenhead man. His specialist subject is Jules Verne and his connection with the Wirral and the American Civil War.”
