If you are not a member of the Friends of Williamson’s Tunnels but would like to take part in one of our free tours, you are welcome to do so.
We have visits every second Sunday of the month, where our volunteer guides will equip you with your hard hat and walk you down into our amazing Paddington site with its cathedral-like brick arch chambers, which extend down to some 60 feet below street level.

How to find us and Important Notice:
Our Mason Street and Paddington sites are a work in progress, please wear sensible, sturdy shoes for safety (no open shoes/sandals). It is recommended that you do not wear good clothing as there is a possibility you can get dirty during your visit. We will supply you with a hard hat for your visit. Please come to the Williamson’s House Site on Mason Street 15 minutes before your booked time.
The Williamson’s House site is opposite No 39 Mason St and is the Façade of the old House (Williamson’s House), behind which is a large area with 3 Blue containers. This is Williamson’s House site and where the Banqueting Hall, Sandstone Arch, Gash and Wine Bins are located.
