BSL signed visits for the deaf

CAI_5521

Meet Graham, tour guide who signs in BSL.

Graham is one of our fantastic team of dedicated volunteers and has been with us for quite a few years now. Graham has become our latest tour guide, his wish is to give visits for the deaf, which he will sign in BSL. We thought that was a fantastic idea, and so we are delighted to anounce that Graham will be giving signed tours of the tunnels. Visits are being supported by Deaf Active & Merseyside deaf society.

We are running 6 tours and hope that they can be made a regular event in the future.

Graham will be doing special visits for the deaf on the following days:

  • Sunday 4th November 2018
  • Sunday 10th December 2018
  • Sunday 6th January 2019
  • Sunday 3rd February 2019
  • Sunday 3rd March 2019
  • Sunday 10th April

On each of these dates we offer 6 places at the following times. Expect your tour to last around an hour:

10.00 – 11.30 – 13.00

If you would like to take part in one of our special visits for the deaf, signed in BSL by Graham, why not drop us an e-mail using this web form or text us on 07906 935 769

How to find us and Important Notice:

Our Mason Street and Paddington sites are a work in progress, please wear sensible, sturdy shoes for safety (no open shoes/sandals). It is recommended that you do not wear good clothing as there is a possibility you can get dirty during your visit. We will supply you with a hard hat for your visit. Please come to the Williamson’s House Site on Mason Street 15 minutes before your booked time.

The Williamson’s House site is opposite No 39 Mason St and is the Façade of the old House (Williamson’s House), behind which is a large area with 3 Blue containers. This is Williamson’s House site and where the Banqueting Hall, Sandstone Arch, Gash and Wine Bins are located.
