Up next: FOWT members meeting – 1st Feb on Zoom

Monday 1st February sees our next members meeting (although non-members are welcome!) This month, as well as an update from the committee on the latest news from the Williamson Tunnels, we’ve a great talk from guest speaker Phil Pritchard:

Title: The Story of Oil and Fuel supplies in WW2.

The story of how we managed to ensure that the RAF, the USAF and D-Day did not run out of fuel in WW2. There was a program to build depots, and a massive nationwide pipeline system to transport it to the end users. The infrastructure still defines the shape of Ellesmere Port, and large parts of the system are still in use today ..

When? Monday 1st February 2021, 7:00pm, over Zoom
